The Western Ghats!

About two decades back I picked up my first film based camera and started my journy in photography.  Living close to the Western Ghats, I gravitaed towards landscape photography almost instantly.

About 50 miles from Bangalore, on the way to Mysore (SH 17), there is a small town -  Ramanagara.  The famous Bollywood film Sholay was shot here. Apart from that, this small town offers some spectacular views of the western ghats.  Being near the foothills of the ghats, you can see layers of coconut trees before the ghats take over. On a cloudy day or and during sunset the views are just spectacular.
